Author
Born in 1969 in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Graduated from Yamaguchi Prefectural Mine Technical High School and moved to Tokyo aspiring to work in film production.
While working for a computer-related company, he wrote novels. In 2013, his work won the 12th “This Mystery is Amazing! Grand Prize.” He debuted in 2014 with 《Metropolitan Police Department Investigative Division 2: Ayaka Gōkan / Special Mission Commander》, which was later adapted into a TV drama.
Furthermore, his 2017 publication 《Organized Crime Countermeasures Division: Amane Shirataka》 was also adapted into a TV drama.
He is also the author of the 《Fastidious Detective: Shingo Tajima》 series, the 《x1 Detective: Airi Aoyama》 series, among others, primarily publishing works centered on police procedurals.
In recent years, he has diversified his writing style, including works such as 《Secret Notebook: The Case Files of Corporate Doctor Masaharu Shibuya》 featuring a corporate doctor as the protagonist, the action spy series 《Drifters》, and 《Umidori: Skybound Coast Guard Officer》 set in the Japan Coast Guard.
