Review
A picture book that imprints on every page the heartfelt wish of "May you get through this smoothly" as we face all of life’s big and small moments. With each turn of the page, earnest hopes grow deeper, and the gourds become firmer, glowing with a gentle luster. Just like the wishes held by these smooth, shining gourds, let’s cheer together: Cala-cala-calabash!
[Cala-cala-calabash: The Green Growth Diary of the Gourds!]
A lively picture book depicting the entire life cycle of a gourd plant, from tender leaves to a solid dipper. Through wind, rain, and scars left by snowstorms, the gourds endure with resilience, finally transforming into golden vessels. Let’s witness their toughness and tenacity—and follow the green growth story of these gourds as they carry heartfelt, powerful wishes to find their own worth.
[A Shining Story, Shining Us]
Characters full of personality appear one after another, offering endless delight as you observe each one closely. Don’t miss the grandmother in her patterned bloomers—her quiet, rugged work is filled with a deep, affectionate wish for everyone to shine, warming the heart. May the hopeful breeze carried by the gourd dipper, brimming with happiness, gently touch the heart of every reader.
