Author

Win Derave is a professor of physiology at Ghent University. In his research and teaching, he is passionate about how muscles work and how they adapt to physical activity and training.

Eline Lievens is a professor of exercise physiology at Ghent University. She studies how muscles and movement affect our health and shares this knowledge through courses such as "Sport and Exercise as Medicine."
