Laura Vila
A bookseller, storyteller, and beloved children's author. Her works include the bestsellers "Wonderful Pets," "Little Feet" (Piyama Books), and "Rainbow Kingdom," which have been translated into Italian and Russian.
About the Illustator
Violeta Cano
An award-winning illustrator from Madrid. She was selected for the 11th Ibero-American Illustration Catalog and won the 2020 APIM Award for Fiction: Children and Young Adults. Recently, she has also begun writing, with the nonfiction work "The Big School Book" (Inuk Publishing) set to be released soon.
Violeta Cano’s creative technique combines graphite, colored pencils, and digital collage. Her favorite color is mustard yellow. She considers herself fortunate to have grown up surrounded by books, as her mother was a librarian.
