I have participated multiple times in the International Illustration Biennial (BIB) held in Bratislava and have been serving as the chairman of the IBBY jury for the St. Petersburg section of the BIB International Children's Illustration Biennial for over a decade!
His works are regularly exhibited in museums and libraries, preserved in the Russian Museum, Dostoevsky Museum, Tolstoy Museum, other Russian museums and private collections, as well as in foreign collections.
In 2020, the famous Russian documentary director Yevgeny Gorynkin filmed a documentary about children's book creators called "Returning to Childhood", and Mikhail Bechkov was one of the important figures in it!

Mikhail Bechkov was born in 1951 and graduated from I. in 1969 E. The art college affiliated secondary art school named Repin. From 1970 to 1973, he worked in I E. In 1975, he graduated from the book graphics department of the Polygraph Institute Leningrad branch in Moscow. Since 1982, he has been a member of the Russian Artists Union.
