Feature

★ Mr. Rokuro Shitsu, the lead visual designer and world-builder of the picture book Poupelle of Chimney Town, will publish his debut author-illustrated picture book this September!
★ Delicate and tender illustrations depict the profound emotional bond between grandmother and grandchild—a heartwarming read not only for children but also offering gentle healing for adults.
★ A fairy-tale adventure blending “treasure hunt” and “maze exploration.” What awaits in the Gear Cave is not material treasure, but the illuminating light of “memory” and “sincerity”—priceless and real.

Description

What is true treasure?
Grandma loves storing precious things in boxes. Her home is filled with many “treasured boxes.” But one day, the most important one goes missing.
To find it, a young boy ventures into the town. He searches a box shop, a game store… and finally reaches the Gear Cave.
The story unfolds through the fun of “searching” and “navigating the maze”—yet the box remains lost. As night falls and the boy hasn’t returned, Grandma steps out worriedly to look for him.
Then the boy realizes: “What is truly important must be cherished properly.” He gives up the search.
But deep inside the Gear Cave lies an unexpected “true treasure”—and the boy brings Grandma there to see it together.
What is your most precious treasure?
