Description

Mo Fei

Mo Fei is a well-known Chinese comic artist. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. His unique artistic style integrates Stephen Chow’s slapstick comedy elements with traditional Chinese horror aesthetics. His works are renowned for combining absurd humor with profound storytelling, often set against realistic backgrounds.

His representative works include “Gu Wei Nan Ting”, “Mo Fei Zheng Zhuan” and “Yan Wang Fa Ze”. His debut short comic “Full Moon” won the Silver Award at the New Star Cup and earned him recognition from Osamu Tezuka’s editor. His work “Gu Wei Nan Ting” received the Silver Award for “Best Story Comic” and the Bronze Award for “Most Popular Original Comic” at the 16th Golden Dragon Chinese Animation and Comic Award. His work “Chu Wu/The Crow” won the Gold Award for “Best Story Comic” and the “Best Comic Screenplay Award” at the 21st Golden Dragon Chinese Animation and Comic Award.
