PTT Drifting Board Highly Recommended Classic Series
Starting from the meat dumplings that everyone loves to talk about,
Bringing out the various strange tales from Taiwan Lugang in the past
The stories that people dare not tell are the truly terrifying ones.
On sleepless nights, pour a cup of tea,
And listen to the tea merchant tell stories.
When discussing strange tales from Taiwan Lugang, most people immediately think of sending meat dumplings,
Because this custom is particularly unique, ancient and mysterious, it has naturally been scrutinized a lot.
For people from Lugang, the ritual of sending meat dumplings is really nothing, after all, they have seen it many times,
Instead, it is some other things that are unclear and inexplicable that truly strike fear into the heart.
At the end of the 1990s, Lugang’s tourism was just about to become popular.
There are many old houses, stories and strange things in Lugang.
The more old houses there are, the more old stories there are. The more old things there are, the more strange things happen.
Those things, people from Lugang know, but outsiders do not know.
This book compiles historical records and stories heard from the mouths of old Lugang people,
Interspersed with Lugang’s folk culture, past scenes and memories of the times,
Striving to record the scenery in the mouths of the older generation through text.
Author
Growing up rolling around the tea table since childhood, after returning to his hometown of Lugang, he became a tea merchant. Starting from the PTT Marvel board to the Facebook fan page “Niu Er’s Strange Tales Tea Banquet,” on the red bricks, under the tiles, through the flower windows, by the tea table, he has been brewing tea and talking about ghosts, searching and inquiring about more strange stories along the way.
The words here are a profound guide to historical sites. Here, in addition to bricks and people, there are countless spirits. They have not crossed over to the other side and are still here waiting for the living to tell the stories of the past.
