Description

❤ To All Children Who Have Ever Felt Troubled in Friendships! Learn the Secrets to Building Good Relationships
This activity workbook focuses on the various "feelings" that everyone experiences, filled with tips on how to skillfully build friendships.
The ability to resolve troubles and worries in interactions with friends lies in mastering the methods of conveying one's own feelings, understanding the other person's mood, and calming emotions. Based on SEL (Social and Emotional Learning), a framework for cultivating social and emotional skills, this book carefully studies the types of emotions and ways to convey them. It not only teaches how not to prioritize one's own feelings unilaterally but also helps children learn to care about the other person's feelings, thereby developing interpersonal communication skills for building better relationships.

❤ Based on SEL (Social and Emotional Learning)
SEL is a framework aimed at building caring interpersonal relationships and is gradually being promoted in school education, especially in the United States. This book, in the form of fun workshops, solidly cultivates four crucial skills in interpersonal communication scenarios: "self-awareness," "emotional awareness," "understanding others' emotions," and "expressing emotions." This book is supervised by Professor Yayo Watanabe, the leading practitioner and researcher of SEL in Japan and a professor at Hosei University.

❤ Centered on Case Studies, Easily Understandable for Children
Targeting scenarios that often confuse elementary school students, such as "why do I feel like being mean?" "when a friend is down," and "when I want to express disagreement," this book provides specific action tips. The content is practical and can be put into practice immediately, helping children expand their communication methods.

❤ 19 Diverse Workshops for Fun and Engaging Learning
From activities that require children to think and fill in, such as "What kind of feeling does this expression convey?" and "How to convey a happy mood?" to activities suitable for friends or parents and children to play together, such as "play chat dice," this book introduces 19 workshops that enhance communication skills. Not only children but also adults can participate and learn together in a fun and game-like manner.

❤ Parents Can Better Understand Children's Troubles
When a child comes home from school and says, "Today, ○○ said something mean to me..." and confides in you, how would you respond? By reading this activity workbook together with your child, parents can not only simply advise "to get along well" but also personally master the methods and tips to visualize and verbalize each other's "feelings".
