Description

The word "stupid" has long been integrated into our lives. Since the age of four, we have already known the feeling when we hear it. "Stupid" is like an alarm bell, reminding us: Be careful, you may be about to cross a psychological boundary that is not beneficial to anyone, and once crossed, it is very difficult to return to the original point.

We also learned very early on to use the word "stupid" to evaluate others: "He's such a fool." When we say this, we feel a sense of relief because it implies the logic that "if I can see the stupidity in others, then I should not be stupid." However, the question "Where exactly is the stupidity?" makes us reluctant to delve deeper, for we fear being labeled "stupid" ourselves.

In our experiential world, there are at least twelve places where we might commit "stupidity"; of course, this might not be the entire list. Everyone has these twelve dimensions, which together shape our inner world: through them, we perceive, act, think, desire, remember, and even forget. In this book, I will lead you to deeply analyze these twelve psychological functions that both create reality and generate illusions. These functions are powerful yet fragile, and they can easily get stuck or malfunction; fortunately, as long as we can detect them in time, solutions can be found for each problem.

This book will accompany you on a comprehensive exploration from the psychological to the existential level. For these twelve functions, I will offer a series of systematic repair plans - from small ability training to complete reshaping plans (including what to read, what to listen to, and what to discuss).

Today, society is permeated with a trend of conformity that has been rare in the Western world for nearly three centuries. In this atmosphere, the content that the masses accept is highly consistent with what they believe they are thinking and what they long to hear. The goal of this book is to help you break free from this blind following, enabling you to drift less with the current and think more independently, thus staying away from unnecessary "stupidity".
