Description
The "Time Pig"—a magical being who helps erase life’s regrets—has arrived!
Look! A pig dressed in a sapphire-blue suit jacket, a red bow tie, a backward cap, and yellow shorts suddenly appears! This pig, who introduces itself as the "Time Pig" from the future, claims to have traveled through time on a mission from the "Past Revision Research Institute" to give young Shi You a chance to undo his deepest regrets...
Much like the pocket-watch-carrying rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, the Time Pig always carries a golden pocket watch and whips out curiously named magical tools that spark instant fascination. There’s the "Click-Clack Advice Giver" that offers perfect guidance, the "Power-Up Yogurt" that fills you with energy, and more. With uncanny timing, it uses these whimsical gadgets to lend just the right help. Though the Time Pig seems carefree, it cares about Shi You more than anyone. But can it really travel back to the past and succeed in its mission? Join this utterly charming pig on a journey to rewrite those heart-wrenching moments!
==================
★ A story about confronting regret and racing toward the future
Looking back, everyone has moments they wish they could undo—a harsh word spoken yesterday, a choice they still agonize over, even just a fleeting instant they’d give anything to relive.
This book vividly captures the tangled, growing tensions between two children, Ah Lin and Shi You, while echoing the universal longing to revisit our regrets and make things right.
★ "You shine brightly—now and always!"
Even after fixing a regret, doubt lingers like a shadow. "What if I mess up again?" After all, the past, present, and future are deeply intertwined. Though Shi You resolves his immediate problem, he worries: How will I handle regrets yet to come?
Whenever children fret this way, the author lets the Time Pig step in with perfectly timed encouragement:
"You’ve got this. Even without me, you’ll be fine. We might not meet again, but I know you’ll soar."
"Really? You’re sure?"
"Absolutely. It’s obvious at a glance."
Time Pig overflows with the author’s hope for children to believe in themselves and march forward bravely—while serving as their steadfast support. Like an ideal best friend, it comforts anxious kids, reassures them that mistakes are okay, and gives them courage to apologize and speak their hearts. With this joyful, reliable companion, embark on a glittering journey through time!
