Feature

★Rights has sold to Germany, France and Italy.
★Following the successful bestsellers "North" and "Polder", we will once again take the children into the frozen world of Antarctica.
★This book is illustrated by Marieke ten Berge, an illustrator who loves nature and has visited the polar regions and their animals many times. Her illustration style is very humorous and unique, and simple lines and colors become extremely expressive and infectious in her pen. It not only has the roughness and texture of woodcut, but also reflects the temperature of nature and soul.

Description

No less than six species of penguins waddle towards you in this stunning new volume of the nature series by Marieke ten Berge and Eva Moraal. They are accompanied by twenty-nine other animals from the icy South, from the Kerguelen fur seal to the southern elephant seal and from the snow petrel to the wandering albatross.

Be dazzled by the magnificent linocuts by Marieke ten Berge and hear the voices of the animals emerge from the texts by Eva Moraal.

You will feel the icy wind, hear the crunching of ice floes, and be warmed with joy as you see and read about all this beauty.
