The book is divided into three volumes, with more than 750 pages and 300,000 words, spanning 9 eras and 36 important scenes in the original plot, and it includes 43 official original illustrations, as well as plot interpretations, time and space structure diagrams, character relationship diagrams, organization relationship diagrams, posters, stickers, and warship structure diagrams.

The book is written in the form of encyclopedic entries, strictly adhering to the content and worldview of the original work. It is divided into volumes according to the three major categories of character organizations, social events, and sci-fi concepts, which distills and sorts out the information that permeates between the lines, ranging from religion and philosophy, society and humanities, to natural sciences.

Introduction:
