Description

Adapted from the global phenomenon sci-fi magnum opus “The Three-Body Problem,” this graphic novel reconstructs the epic showdown between human civilization and extraterrestrial civilization through stunning visual language.
The story begins in the second half of the 20th century. After suffering a devastating blow in life, physicist Ye Wenjie sends a signal of Earth’s civilization into the depths of the universe – a decision that unexpectedly triggers a millennium-long entanglement between humanity and the Trisolaran civilization.
Hailing from the Alpha Centauri star system, 4.2 light-years away from Earth, the Trisolaran civilization inhabits a planet with extremely harsh conditions and constant existential crises. Having long monitored cosmic signals, they are urgently seeking a new home. Upon receiving Ye Wenjie’s signal, the Trisolaran fleet immediately sets sail to launch a colonial expedition to Earth. Meanwhile, they dispatch “Protons” (super artificial intelligence capable of traveling at the speed of light) to block human technology, trapping Earth’s civilization in an existential predicament of “technological stagnation.”
Facing an unprecedented survival crisis, humanity establishes a global united defense organization. While engaging in secret information warfare with the Trisolaran civilization, they strive to break through the technological blockade. In the climax of the first book, “Guzheng Operation,” humanity uses “Flying Blades” made of nanomaterials to precisely slice the Trisolaran advance ship “Judgment Day” in the Panama Canal, successfully acquiring crucial intelligence and gaining a breathing space for subsequent resistance.
Set against the backdrop of the vast universe, the book not only showcases hardcore sci-fi scenes of interstellar warfare but also delves into humanity’s struggles, trust, and betrayal in the face of despair. Exploring the bottom line of civilizational survival and the complexity of human nature, it is a cross-cultural masterpiece that combines visual tension with ideological depth.
