Description
This book shows us, in a pleasant and concise way, how numbers were born and grew to become part of our daily lives, and how they had to solve great problems, not only of a mathematical nature, but also in different fields, such as religion or philosophy. Enrique Gracián brings into play his extensive experience as a teacher and scientific disseminator to show us the more than 3,000 years of history surrounding numbers.
A stimulating journey that begins with the appearance of prime numbers and takes us to the limits of infinity, the largest number of all and the only one that makes mathematics and philosophy find a common place.
