Author
He is an environmental journalist who primarily focuses on nuclear power and renewable energy. He is the founder and project manager of the magazine “MehrWert,” the executive director of the Foundation for a Nuclear-Free Future, and the author of various publications, most recently the “Uranium Atlas.” He also served as an editor at the magazine “Nature” for many years.

He is the scientific director of the Center for Environmental Sciences at the University of Augsburg and an adjunct professor of philosophy at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. This chemist and philosopher has published several highly acclaimed non-fiction books; his most recent work, “How to Philosophize with Fire,” was named “Book of Knowledge of the Year” in 2016.
