Description
Modern research shows how diverse the world of dust is: Whether grains of sand from the Sahara or salt particles from the sea, or even celestial particles. When studied closely, dust turns out to be a reflection of our environment. Today’s science warns against risks posed by new forms of dust, but it also shows that dust is not only a negative environmental factor. For many processes, such as the watercycle, it is essential.
This book provides an overview of current research on dust and sheds light on the fascinating aspects of the phenomenon of dust, ranging from astrophysics to criminology.
