Author

Lv Zhongping, an internationally renowned painter, was born in a calligraphy and painting family in Shanghai, China in 1959. He held over 30 personal exhibitions in art galleries in the United State, France, Japan, Hungary, Spain, Russia, Vietnam, Korea and China, and got various prizes, including the gold award of International Fair of Contemporary Art of France, the Art Prize of the UNESCO, the Prize of the Education Minister of Japan, Cultural Ambassador of the United States, the gold award of the national artwork exhibition and so on. The “tiger” created by him is the prototype of Life of Pi, the masterpiece of director Ang Li. Meanwhile, he is a co-designer of many international brands, such as HERMES, Cartier, GUCCI and so on.

He was appointed as a member of council in Shanghai International Culture Association, an art club in Europe, and Asia International Art Association as well as the president of Oriental Artist Association. He is also a painter decorated by the Japanese royal family and has been awarded the French Order of Culture. In addition, his works are collected by many countries, including China, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, France, Japan, the United States, European Union and so on.

Kuang Tingyun is a professor of Chinese Academy of Sciences, a researcher and doctoral supervisor of Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As a famous plant physiologist and biochemist, she is also known for a pioneer in a new field of research about chloroplast membrane in China. Besides, she is the chief scientist in a project of the National Basic Research Program Of China (973 ), “ the mechanism of efficient conversion about light energy in photosynthesis and its applications in agriculture”. She has acquired the second prize of National Natural Science Award and various prizes in Chinese Academy of Sciences. And Mechanism and Regulation of Primary Energy Conversion Process in Photosynthesis, a book edited by her got a prize in the 14th China Book Award.

Huang Chunhui is a inorganic chemist, a professor and doctoral supervisor of College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering in Peking University. In 1955, after her graduation from the Department of Chemistry in Peking University, she chose to work there, having assumed a teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor and professor. From 1981 to 1982, she went to Ames Laboratory of America’s Department of Energy with the identity of a visiting scholar. From 1982 to 1983, she went to the Department of Chemistry in University of Arizona in her capacity as a visiting scholar. Except that, she was elected to be a professor of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001 and served as a professor in Peking University Boya Chair in 2023.
