Author

Brenda S. Miles, PhD is a clinical pediatric neuropsychologist who works with children, teens, and families. She blends brain science with creativity to build programs and resources that support learning and mental health. Dr. Miles lives near Toronto, Canada.

Monika Filipina completed BA with Hons in Illustration at the University of Wolverhampton and received Dean's Prize for Excellence in Visual Communications in 2011. She also completed Master’s Degree in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Arts in 2014. She has worked for Bloomsbury (UK), Miles Kelly (UK), Digital Leaf (UK), Sinnos (Italy), Benchmark Educational (USA), Lerner Publishing (USA), Glottogon (Australia). In 2013 her book Oh! What a Tangle was awarded the Golden Pinwheel for best International children’s book at Shangai Children’s Book Fair. She has published more than twenty books and her works have been translated and published in about ten languages.
