- Ori: A shy merman, he sometimes gets tonguetied, especially when he’s nervous. He has photographic memory and can talk to animals.
- Fin: He’s a strong and agile merman. He’s a bit cheeky and thinks he’s unbeatable, but he has a secret — he’s terrified of the dark. And it looks like he has a crush on Valentina.
- Valentina: She’s a human girl, the only one who knows about mermaids and mermen. She usually sails the high seas on board of the Happiness, her grandfather’s ship. She’s brave and very curious.

Susanna Isern (La Seu d’Urgell, 1978) is a writer and a psychologist. She has written dozens of children’s books. Her books are sold internationally and can be found in more than fifteen languages. She has been awarded at the Moonbeam Children’s Books Award (USA) four times. She currently lives in Santander and combines her passion for writing with psychology.

Ariadna Oliver (Girona, 1994) is a booming freelance graphic designer and illustrator. She has illustrated merchandising for internationally acclaimed musicians such as Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Khalid, Nicki Minaj, BlackPink and Slipknot. She currently lives in Barcelona.
