Description
-------------------------------------------------
Madrid became Spain’s capital during the Renaissance, but it was just in the 18th century that the village became a big city. Although its symbol is the bear and the strawberry tree, the Madrilenian are known for cats. Legend tells that during the conquest of Madrid, in the 11th century, our ancestors climbed the Muslim walls with feline abilities. Either bears or cats, Madrid is full of people of various origins and, according to visitors, it is not difficult to feel right away at home. However, if it is said that one should know its home like the palm of ones hand, I, for the other hand, have always had the feeling that there was yet so much to uncover. These are my 12 favorite places, rich in details and secrets. If someone changed a thing in them, I would notice.
