Description

Catarina Sobral used to go to her secondary school through Lousã railway line. In the city where she grew up, she recalls the steam of roasted chestnuts, the stairs of Quebra-Costas and the shadow of the Botanical Garden overlooking the university’s tower. This is an inner journey, from the downtown to the outskirts of Coimbra.

Author

Catarina Sobral
is an illustrator and communication designer, experienced in engraving and animation film. She is the author of many books and, in 2004, she was awarded a White Ravens for her book Empty, from the collection Images That Count.
