Description

Author
Spanish author, born in Toledo. Her hometown has castles, towers, battlements, moats, and the place is full of secret stories told by her grandmother that made Margarita a storyteller. She has published 23 books, which have been translated into 12 languages including Simplified Chinese. She has worked with institutions such as the Instituto Cervantes, Casa Lecto and the ABC Museum. As a writer, she has won several awards, such as the Lazarillo Award and the Picture Book Award from the Madrid Booksellers Association.
Rocío Martínez
Born in Madrid in 1966. Graduated in Fine Arts (San Fernando, Madrid) in 1984 and Sculpture in 1989. Since 1990 she has been working as an illustrator for children's and adolescents' books in Spain and other countries (South Korea, USA, France, Japan, UK, Italy, Mexico, Portugal and Venezuela). She has also published several books since 1999, some of which have been translated into Korean, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, English and Chinese.
