Ahmed is 7 years old. He is young but he knows a few more things than other children his age. Ahmed knows how to live in two countries at the same time. He has a big country, which is where the street, the school, the park, the doctor and the supermarket are. And then he has another smaller country, which is inside his home. Like many kids from immigrant families, he speaks at least two languages, he deals with different food flavours, different clothes styles, different habits… and learns double. He knows how important documents and borders are, even though he is only seven years old, while at the same time, he dreams and gets distracted by his own powerful imagination, like every single kid in the world no matter where he lives.
