Just near the big city lies a green forest full of many kinds of different mushroom. As time goes by people visit the forest more
often, cutting trees, using pesticides and collecting mushrooms in their plastic bags. But the mushrooms have a plan to stop people from damaging nature: They will eat the plastic bags!
This story is inspired by a species of mushroom that eats plastic. The author shows children the importance of not using plastic bags through fun mushroom characters.

Pelin Turgut was born in Söke in 1986 and grew up in Bodrum. She completed her undergraduate studies at Yeditepe University of Fine Arts, Faculty of Graphic Design. Since 2018, she illustrated so many children’s books. In fact, she wants to be a children’s book one day, when she grows up. Pelin loves what she does and she continues to work in her studio in Bodrum to make her dreams come true.
