They are sometimes absurd, sometimes serious, sometimes funny, sometimes unexpected, and sometimes impolite. These stories condemn various human flaws, including: a person who gives orders because "a person wearing a commander's hat must command", a gentleman who has seven identical hats for each day of the week, a snowman who only has a headpiece left in spring, a person who is so absorbed in reading that he doesn't notice a monkey stealing his hat, and a beggar who refuses to sell his hat for one million euros.
