Growing up… It is inevitable but not always so easy. This is the story of the last leaf on a tree. Autumn rains have started pouring and squirrels are busy burying acorns. But as the weather gets cold one leaf is filled with fear. All its neighbors have fallen down the tree and now it is his turn to jump. This autumn tale tells children the fear of growing up in the most delicate way. Growing up can be inevitable but sometimes it takes courage to jump down into the world.

Pinar Koprucu was born in 1982. She graduated from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Department of Translation Studies. She then studied humanities in Berlin in 2006. Her first book, Pisi’ce Düşler (Cattish Dreams) was published by Arma Publishing House. She loves picture books, her freckles and cats.

Pelin Turgut was born in Söke in 1986 and grew up in Bodrum. She completed her undergraduate studies at Yeditepe University of Fine Arts, Faculty of Graphic Design. Since 2018, she illustrated so many children’s books. In fact, she wants to be a children’s book one day, when she grows up. Pelin loves what she does and she continues to work in her studio in Bodrum to make her dreams come true.
