Description

In the Vorderpfalz, Germany's largest vegetable garden, a farmer dies during a dinner by eating poisonous zucchini. Commissioner Palzki, who is also present and has an aversion to all kinds of greenery, survives unscathed. He quickly realizes that there must be connections to the Palatinate Market in Mutterstadt. It gets really dramatic when a truck driver is shot in the middle of the night in front of Palzki's eyes, who wanted to bring a vegetable delivery to the Palatinate market ...

Author

Harald Schneider, born in Speyer in 1962, lives in Schifferstadt and worked for 20 years as a business economist in a media company. His writing career began during his studies with short crime for the rainbow press. The father of four children published several children's book series. Since 2008, he has established the quirky Commissioner Reiner Palzki in the Rhine-Neckar-Palatinate metropolitan region, who, in addition to his now twentieth case, "The Last Meal", investigates numerous rate crimes in the daily newspaper Rheinpfalz and various customer magazines. In 2017, Schneider came in 3rd place after Sebastian Fitzek and Rafik Schami in the election as the Palatinate's favourite author.
