Description

Friesland in the late 7th century AD. The Frisians live quietly and in peace, they trade, cultivate their fields and assert themselves against the voracious sea. But then a dangerous enemy enters the Frisian homeland from the south. The Franks want to bring the true faith to Friesland, the message of their crucified God, but in truth they want to conquer - subjugate the Friesland. They gather behind their prince Radbod to fight for their freedom.
