A village in sin

Description

For a long time, Rev. Roerd Asmus has been loathing the wrong ways of his congregation: beating, binge drinking and rape. On a gray winter morning Arfst, one of the peat boilers, is found dead in a tub. You can only recognize him by a tattoo that he had taken many years ago. The man had made many enemies in the village before. The citizens of Rungholt, a small North Sea island, suspect the angel maker Silja.

Author

Franziska Steinhauer
has lived in Cottbus for 25 years. During her studies in pedagogy, she focused on psychology and philosophy. She acquired her broad knowledge in the field of forensic science during a master's degree in forensic sciences and engineering. This knowledge enables the author to give readers a deep insight into pathological thinking and acting. Franziska Steinhauer combines killing action, local color and criticism of current social developments with particular skill. Her novels are characterized above all by well-researched details and a particularly lively depiction of the respective characters. "Spreewaldmord" is her 25th crime novel.
