Feature

- An in-depth analysis of Nietzsche’s thought through one of his best-known works.
- Written by a doctor of philosophy.
- A simple, concise format, ideal for students of philosophy and humanities.

Description

This book aims to approach the philosophy of Nietzsche (1844-1900) in two ways. The first is a study of wisdom as conceived by the philosopher with a reflection on how this same wisdom can still have an ethical and moral value in the contemporary world.
The second is an analytical reading of Thus Spoke Zarathustra, providing keys to its understanding, as well as a new interpretation of this fundamental work. Who exactly is the character of Zarathustra? Why does
Nietzsche make him a poet? What does he really have to say to us? And is this book, written "for all and for none", really addressed to us?

Author

Gabriel Mahéo has a PhD in philosophy and teaches the subject. He has also written Aimer se dit en plusieurs sens published by Apogée in its philosophy collection, "Ateliers populaires de philosophie".
