Review
The villagers convened a meeting to discuss the unmanned laundry. From Coco, the owner of Badugi Hair Salon, to Soso from Soso Snack Bar, and even Beibero from Beibero Architecture, everyone was there. Yet Station Chief Tupper shirked responsibility, avoiding the issue. Leo questioned Tupper’s priorities—suspecting he valued the Dongdong Mountain development project more than the villagers’ safety—and resolved to uncover the truth about the unmanned laundry. Though each villager faced different circumstances, none turned a blind eye to the problems plaguing Dongdong Mountain. They gathered to pool their ideas and decided to stand up and protect their home. After all, the mountain’s pristine natural environment is a precious legacy that must be passed down intact, and as the villagers’ representative, the station chief bears that duty as well.
Leo had once planned to leave and strike out on his own, but before he knew it, this unexpected “family” by his side had become an indispensable part of his life, making it harder and harder for him to let go. Pangpang, oblivious to Leo’s inner turmoil, was determined to curb her clumsy ways and prove she could handle her duties. She poured all her energy into winning the annual Dongdong Mountain “Employee of the Year” award, yearning for recognition. Yet her efforts only deepened the misunderstandings between them, leaving both in tears. In the end, Leo reached out first, truly understanding her heart. With heartfelt sincerity, he offered her an apple and said the very words she’d longed to hear. Watching these two imperfect characters slowly draw closer, you’ll come to understand how relationships can help us grow. And just as they wait for spring to return, why not plant a sturdy seed in your own heart and watch it take root?
