Description

Sometimes, emotions are like conveyor-belt sushi.
At the moment you see a piece of fatty tuna and want it, you think, “I’ll wait and grab it when it comes around again.”
But when it comes around again… all that’s left is pudding.

A love at first sight that bears fruit is called fate. One that doesn’t… can only be said to be a chance encounter.

Drawn by the pull of destiny, Mr. Wang finds himself stumbling into a matchmaking meeting with no scientific basis—and unexpectedly becomes the captive of love at first sight.
Two mysterious women from Kanazawa, as clear as rain, yet drifting and elusive like snow…

During the peak of crab season, Mr. Wang visits Kanazawa at the invitation of a Japanese friend, only to discover that a sumptuous feast of crab and fine sake comes paired with a matchmaking event. Unfortunately, the heroine, Rain, does not drink, and her words are sharp as a blade—how could there be any hope!
Just after escaping this social minefield, Mr. Wang crosses paths with a woman named Snow. A mere 0.4 seconds of eye contact seizes his heart. Bewildered and spellbound, he finds himself chasing this enigmatic woman, traversing half of the Noto Hantō (Noto Peninsula) in pursuit.

Clever Rain, aloof Snow—how is one to choose? Yet a woman, like fine sake, reveals her true character only to those patient enough to savor every sip...

If there is anyone who excels at blending fine food, exquisite drinks, and delicate emotional storytelling, it is culinary-travel novelist Chiyu Wang.
Under Chiyu Wang’s pen, not a drop of good sake is wasted, not a bite of exquisite food is missed… yet a woman remains the most elusive delicacy of all, winding through countless twists and turns, impossible to fully fathom.
