Description

This book explores how contemporary society undermines our understanding of love and relationships and offers tools to change the way we relate. If you've ever wondered why your relationships falter or why, even when everything seems right, you still feel dissatisfied, this book helps you understand how you got here and what you can do without self-blame — because it's not just you, it's society itself. Drawing on real cases, reflections, and practical advice, with input from psychologist and sexologist Carmen Sánchez and other experts, the book dismantles myths of romantic love, analyzes the social shifts that have transformed partnership, and guides readers toward healthier bonds or a drama-free embrace of singledom. Through direct, humorous insight, it reveals why we idealize love and how to rethink autonomy, intimacy, gender roles, and equality in relationships, helping you live your connections (or your singleness) as you truly deserve.
