Author
Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1973. Science writer and journalist.
For science and technology that have become indispensable to modern life, he conducts extensive interviews and provides in-depth, carefully conveyed coverage ranging from research sites to the relationship between science and society. He is well-regarded for his ability to explain complex scientific topics in language easily understood by a wide audience.
He has authored numerous books, including "The Illustrated Guide to Planets Where Life Might Exist" (SB Creative) and "The Story of Gravitational Wave Discovery" (Gijutsu-Hyohron Co., Ltd.).
Yasuhiro Yoshikawa (Supervisor)
Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1942. Director of Hamagin Children's Space Science Museum. Professor Emeritus at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
Graduated from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Engineering, Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Space Engineering course), completed the doctoral program in Aeronautics at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering, and holds a Doctorate in Engineering.
He was involved in improving the Mu rocket and developing numerous satellites, and actively participated as a member of projects such as the Halley's Comet exploration plan and the asteroid explorer "Hayabusa" project. He pioneered the establishment of the JAXA Space Education Center and served as its first director.
Known as the "Father of Space Education," he is dedicated to educational outreach activities centered on space themes.
