Feature
Description
Interviews with prominent international figures in the gaming industry offer readers a direct glimpse into the cultural and professional horizons related to video game music—a true art form whose analysis requires a new branch of musicology, specifically called ludomusicology. Through a rigorous lens, two of the most famous video game soundtracks, Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda, works by the brilliant Japanese composer Koji Kondo, are examined in depth.
