Description
Chemical Serendipity is born precisely to debunk this myth and show how organic molecules are protagonists of stories that have shaped our lives and our destiny, often in surprising ways. Chemistry is everywhere. Every time we are enveloped by a scent or sip a glass of wine, when we lose ourselves in the pleasure of an emotion or capture a moment with a photo, when we enjoy a cool drink chilled in the refrigerator or try to ward off a mosquito, we come into contact with organic chemistry. What would have happened if organic molecules had never been discovered or synthesized? Would our society have evolved differently? Would the world be a better or worse place? The answer might surprise us.
