Author
Pen name: Dong Hong Xi Yu. He is a fable and fairy-tale writer, travel photographer, and poet.
To date, he has created more than 1,000 fables and fable-style fairy tales, as well as hundreds of fable poems. He is the author of “The Minister and the Seabird: A Collection of Fables and Fairy Tales by Dong Hong Xi Yu” and “The Crab’s Waltz: A Collection of Fables and Fairy Tales by Dong Hong Xi Yu.” His works have been recognized with the Global Influence Chinese-Language Works Award at the 2024 Publishing Development Annual Gala, hosted by the Huwen Shu Lian. With travel photography experience in nearly 120 countries, he has journeyed alone to both the North and South Poles. To date, he has captured over 400,000 photographs, and his work has been selected for several internationally renowned photography exhibitions, including “Images of Asia” and the Pingyao International Photography Exhibition.
