Feature
This book was written with one purpose in mind: to provide your children with a life vest that carries the essence of the most important life lessons we, as adults, usually learn only after years of hardships, setbacks, and heartbreak. By passing these lessons on at the very beginning of our children's journeys, we can give them the gift of a better life—richer, fuller, and far less frustrating.
Every child deserves to learn to recognize their own strengths and inner resilience and to live in alignment with them, sooner rather than later and by conscious choice—rather than by being forced to recalculate their path after circumstances have already knocked them down, as so often happens to many of us.
Description
As parents, we already know that life is not always a walk in the park. But when it comes to our children, we want to equip them with the tools that will help them find their way in a challenging world of self-doubt and uncertainty. We want to spare them the trouble of learning out of necessity and instill them with the positive, life-affirming beliefs that we went through so much trouble to learn.
No parenting book has offered a helpful, comprehensive, direct way of doing just that. Until now.
An optimistic, reassuring voice for new and seasoned parents, life and business coach Michal Gez shares the principles that every adult wishes they had learned early on in the form of practical parenting strategies to help your child:
Have a stronger, resilient spirit
Learn self-love
Live authentically, not according to others’ expectations
Express their emotions, desires, and feelings
Be attuned to their gut and intuition
But most importantly, provide the guidance and support they need—even when you are not around.
As the goal of every parent (and parenting book)—empowered children make the adults we all dream our children will grow up to be. With The Empowered Child, Michal Gez will help you uplift your child and guide them into being the happy, independent, resilient, and confident adults that they can be.
