Description

This adventure story explores humanity’s quest to understand its place in the universe and the journey we’ve undertaken in our relentless pursuit of the stars and the vastness of space. Guided by the curious students of the London College of Creative Arts, readers are taken on a journey through time and space, witnessing the evolution of spaceflight—from the invention of gunpowder and early rocketry in ancient China to Newton’s laws of physics, the Wright brothers’ first flight, the jet age, and the Space Race. Along the way, they delve into humanity’s monumental achievements, including the moon landing, the development of space stations, and the grand vision of interstellar exploration. This captivating work seamlessly blends science, history, and imagination, bringing to life the pivotal milestones that have shaped our path into the cosmos.

Paul Kupperberg (Writer)
Paul Kupperberg has written over 1,000 comic-book stories for companies such as DC Comics and Archie Comics, including titles featuring Superman, Peacemaker, Vigilante, Supergirl, The Doom Patrol, Bart Simpson, Scooby-Doo, and the Eisner- and Harvey-nominated “Life with Archie” series. In addition, he has created his own original characters, such as Arion, Lord of Atlantis, General, and Tachyon.
He has also created newspaper comic strips, crossword puzzles, coloring books, and activity books featuring Superman and Tom and Jerry for DreamWorks, and has written numerous fiction and nonfiction books for young adult readers, including the GLAAD-nominated and Scribe Award–winning novel “Kevin,” which is based on an Archie Comics character.
Paul is the author of the novels “JSA: Ragnarok” and “The Devil and Leo Persky,” as well as several works on the history of comics, including “Direct Commentary: A Self-Portrait by a Comic Book Creator,” “Direct Dialogue: Conversations with Bronze Age Creators at DC Comics,” “Direct Creativity: Creators Who Inspire Creators,” and “Frame by Frame: My Life in Comics.” He has also contributed to numerous original story anthologies, as well as anthologies featuring characters from Batman, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Alien, Planet of the Apes, and other popular franchises.
