Feature

*“It’s okay to make mistakes—just like laundry takes time to dry, children take time to grow.”

Description

It’s a bright and sunny morning, but little Aram’s heart feels heavy and cloudy. She had an accident last night—she wet the bed!

Her mom and dad begin doing the laundry. But then the clothesline snaps, emotions unravel, and in the yard, it begins to rain—not outside, but in their hearts.

Still, the laundry must be done so they start the laundry again. Aram stomps her feet beside her parents, and little by little, they all shake off their heavy feelings. Soon, their hearts feel as light as bubbles, floating into the blue sky.

This picture book isn’t just about making mistakes. It’s about how we respond to them—with care and patience. It’s about the kind of love that waits and the beauty of growing slowly—together. Just like laundry needs sunshine, wind, and time to dry, children need warmth, space, and time to grow. There’s no need to compare or rush. Everyone blossoms in their own time.
