After graduating from university, he worked in R&D and promotion at a home gardening fertilizer and agrochemical manufacturer and handled gardening enthusiasts’ inquiries in the customer consultation office. Currently, he serves as Director of the Pesticide Consultation Office at the Green Safety Promotion Association (Public Interest Incorporated Association), promoting the correct use of pesticides. Through lectures and publications, he actively advocates the idea that “proper and smart use of pesticides contributes to pesticide reduction” and promotes a new rotational spraying method based on the RAC code. His hobby is photographing diseases and pests afflicting on gardening plants. In recent years, he has noticed earlier occurrences of major pests due to climate warming. He is the author of numerous well-received books known for accessible photos and explanations.
