The brightly colored cover perfectly matches the story. The story is light-hearted and maintains this style until the end. The romantic plot, charming supporting characters, and humorous dialogue are all impressive. - Jennifer Deuschle, ekz Library Services

After reading the introduction, I knew I had to read this book. As soon as I started reading, I was deeply attracted by the story and didn't know whether to be shocked or amused. I decided to take it as a joke, and the author's humorous writing style made it easy for me to do so. Alice is such a likeable protagonist. I really enjoyed watching her work at the children's bookstore. Her good friend Zara also works there and is even her boss. The supporting characters are all charming, making the reading experience even more enjoyable. You can truly feel the deep friendship between friends. Lennon is a particularly charming character. When Alice saw him throw a mattress out of the window, I immediately fell in love with him. But Alice, who had just ended a relationship, had no intention of starting a new one. So, she decided to just be friends with Lennon and enjoy the time spent with him. But would that really work? Why did the longer she spent time with Lennon, the stronger the attraction between them became?
The author successfully immersed me in the story, allowing me to experience all kinds of emotions along with the protagonists. I laughed with Alice, suffered with her, looked forward to things with her, and felt everything with her... When the novel ended, I really felt sad. The only thing that seemed a bit strange to me was how the people working at the bookstore could earn so much money that they could often eat out and even take taxis frequently. After all, Alice lives in New York, where the cost of living is not low. But then again... This novel really lifted my spirits.
