Description

It takes three months for a napkin to completely degrade in the natural environment, but a bus ticket takes twelve months, while a piece of chewing gum takes five years, and a cigarette end takes ten years… What do all this time mean? This book will help readers understand the time things take to degrade and learn to measure time.

David Carley will set up a workshop related to this book in schools, bookstores, libraries... Teach children about the time things take for everyday objects to degrade and what we can do for the future. But this is not to point fingers or render an atmosphere of disaster - our world has not destroyed yet.
