Review

Step-by-step demos, crystal-clear photos, and side-by-side comparisons make it easy to see how “sweet” morphs into “dark” and back again.
—Chin, watercolor hobbyist

Description

Think of this as two mini-workshops in one cover. First you’ll learn the nuts and bolts of watercolor—paints, papers, palettes, and the quirky techniques that make pigment bloom. Then we split into twin tracks: the airy “Sweet” girls and the moody “Dark” girls. Each track starts with a simple head study, moves on to styling notes (think forest sprite versus gothic Lolita), and finishes with a full-figure painting. Whichever path you choose, the difficulty stays the same—pick your vibe and start painting.
