Description

A non-fiction picture book to discover fourteen of the world’s most emblematic urban parks, their deep historical roots, their great influence on popular culture and the incredible nature they hold. An interesting look at how parks can be a green refuge from crowded and grey cities.

Author

Tania Graff was born in Asturias, in the north of Spain, and has always lived near the sea. At the age of 17, she swapped the Cantabrian Sea for the warm waters of the Mediterranean to study Advertising and PR in Barcelona. Since then, she has worked as a copywriter and creative director in different advertising agencies in the city. Urban Parks of the World is the first title she has published.

Helena Bonastre is an illustrator and animator based in Madrid. She is a graduated in character animation at Central Saint Martins (London) and in film directing at Met Film School (London). In recent years she has worked as a storyboard artist for renowned production companies in London and as a freelance illustrator for editorial and commercial work both in the UK and in Spain.
