Follow Susie the Reading Mouse on an adventure at school!
In her previous adventure, Susie was discovering books and the passion of reading while the family of the house where she lives was away. Indeed, she is always a bit bored when the children are not there because she really likes “their music”. One morning she’s thinking that she wants to go to school as well and jump into a schoolbag! It just so happens that today is not a traditional school day but a field trip. For sure Susie already knows a lot of things thanks to the books she has read, but she will still learn and see so much at the school of nature!

Susie Morgenstern, Winner of the Grande Ourse Prize* 2024. She is a French American author, mainly of children’s books. Several of her books have won a string of awards, including "Lettres d’amour de 0 à 10", which has won about twenty prizes. She now lives in Nice where she has been an English teacher at university, and keeps her childish spirit that runs through her writing. Her works have sold over 2 million copies in total since the 2000s.
*Montreuil Children’s Book Fair (SLPJ) awards a French- speaking author or illustrator for his·her whole work with the prestigious Grande Ourse Prize.

Séverine Cordier has been working with many children’s publishers and the children’s press for over 15 years: illustrating books for toddlers, picture books, Gründ’s famous classical sound books series, comic strips for early readers, as well as textile and school projects.
