Description
We should understand that many times it is not because we are not hardworking or because fate is playing tricks on us, but rather because we simply do not know which stage of our journey we are at, nor can we comprehend the deeper meaning of the situations before us. As a result, we are unable to overcome obstacles and advance.
This book will help us break through this dilemma.
The author, experienced tarot teacher Wang Yining, has accomplished an innovation by combining the Tarot Major Arcana with Campbell’s stages of the hero’s journey, creating a divination technique that transcends fortune and misfortune and unlocks life’s predicaments. She found that from the first card, The Fool, to the last card, The World, the tarot cards vividly express the trials of the hero at each stage. By drawing just one card, anyone can locate their current situation within the hero’s journey and, through the down-to-earth yet healing interpretations of the cards in the book, as well as the magnificent images on the cards, achieve an epiphany.
Rather than passively being led by fate to places we do not wish to go, it is better to actively understand our circumstances and take control of the direction toward our dreams. This book helps every reader, through a simple and easy-to-learn method, to perceive themselves and see the call to adventure in the small and large matters of life, thus becoming their own hero.
