She is a counseling psychologist, certified sex counselor by the Taiwan Association of Sexuality Counselors; Executive Director of Beone Sexuality Counseling Training Center, and Executive Director of the YunGuang Children and Adolescent Sexuality Counseling Center and Beone Adult Sexuality Counseling Center.

With 25 years of experience in sexuality counseling, Lu Chia-Hui has established the "Capacity Construction-Oriented Sexuality Counseling" approach tailored to Chinese culture. This approach emphasizes personality and sexual personality construction as the main therapeutic core.
