Author

Irina Yuryevna Alimova is a Russian children's book author and poet. She lives in Zelenograd and writes poetry and prose. Her literary achievements have been widely recognized, and she has won awards in numerous international and domestic literary competitions. Some of her awards and achievements include:
- First place in the International Korolyov Competition (Children's Poetry, 2018).
- Third place in the International Agniya Barto Competition ("Golden Lyra" — Poetry, Third Prize — Prose, 2021).
- Semi-finalist in the F. Krapivin (2022) and "Nastya and Nikita" (2023) literary competitions.
- Semi-finalist in the "Pink Giraffe" and "Lemonade" publishing house competitions in collaboration with illustrators (2023).
- Shortlisted in the "Kora" (Prose) competition and won in the "Kora.Poetry" (Young Adult Poetry) competition, 2023.
- Shortlisted in the "Rosman" publishing house competition "New Children's Books" (2023).
- Shortlisted for the National Children's Literature Award (2023).
